Little Apple Pediatric Dentistry

Office Policies

At Little Apple Pediatric Dentistry we make an attempt to accommodate your time and scheduling needs. To ensure the best dental care, we request that you make every effort possible to be on time for your child’s dental appointment. We tend to run on time when our patients run on time and in order to be respectful to other parents and patients, we please ask that you arrive at your appointment with completed paperwork or with ample time to complete any required paperwork.

If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, we ask that you provide at least 24-hour notice. We realize that emergencies may happen, but please make every effort to cancel your appointment in advance.

Children three and over will attend their treatment session unaccompanied by a parent. Studies have shown that children three and over have a more positive reaction to being allowed to experience their dental experience on their own in a kid-friendly environment.

Payments for dental services are due at the time services are rendered. At Little Apple Pediatric Dentistry the treatment we provide is based on individual needs for each patient. If we determine that additional services are needed following an examination, we will inform you of these services and the fee associated before performing any treatment. For your convenience, we do accept personal checks, debit cards, and most major credit cards.

We will be happy to file an insurance claim on your behalf, provided we have received all of your insurance information prior to your child’s appointment. Please understand that we file dental insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. We are contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas (Not Federal), Delta Dental, and MetLife. We are also contracted with United Concordia-Tricare, which is the dental insurance for active-duty military personnel. If you have any other insurance that is not listed, then we are not currently contracted with that insurance. Therefore, you will be responsible for paying for all dental services in full on the day the service is provided. All companies, other than BCBS of KS, Delta Dental, MetLife, and United Concordia-Tricare, will be instructed to send any reimbursement directly to the subscriber.
